If you are an infrequent Yelp reviewer, most of the time, you write Yelp reviews when something goes wrong. But every once in a while, you encounter a product or service so good, that you have to write about it. Well this review is the latter.

I've been wanting to get some retractable screen doors installed on my house, and found that South County Window Coverings and Retractable Screen Doors were highly rated on Yelp. Steen (the owner) lived up to his reviews.

First of all, Steen, who is super friendly, was very patient answering a ton of my questions by phone even before I committed to having him come out for a quote.

When he arrived a few days later for measurements, he gave me a demonstration of how the door works, and explained to me in detail about how the product would be installed on my front and double width French doors, and what to expect on installation day. His price was competitive and was actually a little less than other quotes I received.

The day of installation (about three weeks later), Steen showed on time, installed the doors quickly and cleaned up. Afterwards, he gave instructions on how to operate the screen doors and maintain them with silicon spray. (It's not rocket science, but he wanted to give me some pointers on my French doors that had unique to my installation needs).

Last of all, I should talk about the screen doors themselves. When open, you may not even notice that there's a retractable screen door. When closed, they are so sheer that you can't see them. Highly recommended product and service!
